Ely and Arly’s hearts found each other in the most unexpected way, as if drawn together by an unseen force. Their first meeting was anything but perfect—plans fell apart, a small misstep led to laughter and embarrassment, and time seemed determined to work against them. Yet, even in the chaos, there was something undeniable, a quiet pull that neither could ignore.
When they met again, everything felt different. Conversations flowed effortlessly, laughter replaced hesitation, and the distance between them no longer felt so vast. Since that day, their love has been woven through patience and devotion, proving that some connections are unshaken by time or space—they simply belong.
He proposed on a Scrabble board. It's a game we've always loved.
He glued the letters on, spelling "MILEA WILL YOU MARRY ME", and then asked if I wanted to play the game after dinner. He had me set up the game, and of course when I opened the board, I saw the letters spelling out the proposal!
I was so awestruck, confused and surprised at the same time as he stood there ring in hand. I framed the board and have it hanging in our home.
"Yes! Yes of course! Yes!"
